In his first solo exhibition, Daniel Martin Sullivan unveils the last two years of prolific painting. Spurred on by the experience of invention and performing with immunity to outcome, Sullivan incorporates new approaches and appropriates familiar techniques arriving at a harmony with chaos.

About the artist: Born in New York (1980), and raised in Philadelphia, Daniel Martin Sullivan comes from a family of visual artists. Attending Tyler School of Art (BFA, 2003) and relocating to Chicago, Sullivan started a family and prospered in a marketing career. His studio practice intensified in recent years and focuses on abstraction, emphasizing a wide range of material exploration. Sullivan’s influences continue to include the work of the Old Masters, Abstract Expressionists, and his contemporaries. Represented by The Art House Gallery since 2018, Daniel Martin Sullivan has participated in multiple group exhibitions, with his first solo show in September 2019.
